will allow you to experience all of the above. You will be fully certified

Many other shops or instructors provide quick weekend course and and
pack in as many students as their standards allow. I think that does you,
the student, a disservice. I believe that you should get quality training
at a pace that maximizes your comfort. Thus, my Scuba Diver course will
have no more than eight students and is longer than other courses. However, smaller class sizes and
additional instructional time are more expensive to provide. So if you are
looking for a quick and cheap course, I understand and wish you the best
of luck.
Course Cost: $369

Course Length:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-10pm for
three consecutive weeks and one Saturday from 9-5pm and Sunday from 9-3pm.

Prerequisites:
Age: 15 (age 12 for Junior certification)
Diver Certification: None
Prior Training: None
Health: No medical contraindications (see
questionnaire for details), may need medical approval at instructors
discretion.
Sense of Humor
Skill Prerequisites: (Will be performed at
the first pool session)
- Demonstrate novice level
swim stroke proficiency 200 yards
- Swim 50ft underwater without
push off
- Tread water for 15 minutes
Gear Requirements:
Skin diving and scuba diving are equipment
intensive sports. If you can, it is a great idea to purchase your own gear
for the course, however I will supply the use of
most of the gear at no extra charge. However, there are some personal
items that really need to be purchased. These items include:
- Mask
- Fins
- Snorkel
- Booties
- Hood
- Gloves
The cost varies from $170-$500 depending on what you get. I will be
happy to help you pick out your equipment on the first night of class.
Students should bring the following items to the
first class session:
