Arrr ye ready to
learn new skills?
Do
you want to go deeper into one of the many aspects of
diving? Do you want to further develop one of the many
skills that you only touched on in your advanced classes?
Then I encourage you to explore one or all of the following
specialties.
The keys to becoming a better diver are good training
under a knowledgeable instructor and lots of practice. So
dive a little, take a class, dive some more, and take a
class, then dive some more!!
Dry Suit Diver - Did you
recently purchase a dry suit? Are you finding yourself
stopping by the dry suit rack each time you are in the

will learn dry suit diving techniques from weighting to
emergency procedures for flooding. Also covered are basic
maintenance and dry suit care. Cost includes one
classroom/pool session. Cost: $100
U/W Navigation - Diving the
North Coast requires good navigation skills. So to feel
comfortable knowing where you are and where you are going,
this class is for you. Topics covered in one classroom
session are distance estimation, compass navigation and
natural navigation. During your three open water dives over
the course of one weekend you will practice each of these
new skills along with dive site assessment. Cost: $100
U/W Hunter Collector - One
of the fun pastimes along the North Coast is hunting. We
have an abundance of fish and of course ABALONE!!

include topics such as equipment needed for hunting, safe
techniques of spear fishing, abalone diving and preparation
of fish and games. The cost includes one free dive and two
tank dives. You need to get a fishing license and abalone
tag prior to class. Cost: $100
